Saturdays at Full Circle

Saturdays are for PR’s. New big lifts. Better Benchmark times.

We always go big on Saturdays, because Saturdays are for having fun. No work. Sunday off. Why not?

To that end, here’s a highlight of this Saturday, for which the WOD looked something like this:

Combine the snatch balance followed with an overhead squat for something heavy

Several heavy singles in the Snatch

3×3 in the Back Squat

This Saturday saw our clients hit big numbers:

Matt matched his PR in the snatch, and hit a personal best in the Snatch Balance and Overhead Squat. He also hit 92% of his max for two in the back squat.

Dave really saw his Snatch Balance technique start to come together.

Rodd tackled the new and challenging Snatch Balance with vigor.

Justin exceeded his previous best in the back squat of 235 by leaps and bounds with a set of three at 255lbs. He also had by far his best set in the snatch balance and overhead squat and his previous best in the snatch for several reps.

Jess hit a new PR in the snatch balance, overhead squat and Snatch. She also did 94% of her previous best in the back squat for three reps.

Here’s some pictures, worth more than one thousand words:
